Public transport to the stadiums during EURO 21

The easiest way to plan a trip by public transport is to use the UBIAN mobile application. Passengers can find current timetables, a list of stops, the location of connections in real time and, in the case of Košice public transport, they can also purchase a ticket through it. The application makes the transfer to the EURO 21 matches in Košice and Prešov easier.

Košice Football Arena (KFA)

From the railway and bus station (public transport stop “Staničné námestie”) to KFA:

Bus lines no. 15 and 16 – get off at the “Košice futbalová aréna” stop
Bus line no. 23 – get off at the “Moldavská, obchodné centrá” stop (approx. 10 min. walk from the stadium)

From the bus station (public transport stop “Palackého” on Palackého street) to KFA:

Bus line no. 10 – exit at the “OC Optima” stop (approx. 15 min. walk from the stadium)

Access to the Košice Football Arena (KFA) stadium from Košice Airport:

Bus line no. 23 – exit at the “Moldavská, obchodné centrá” stop (approx. 10 min. walk from the stadium)

The following stops are also within walking distance of about 10 minutes from KFA: Železníky, križovatka; Moldavská, obchodní centrá and OC Optima.

From the ralway station to FTA:

Lines no. 1, 4, 8 – exit at the “Trojica” stop, (approx. 10 min walk from the stadium)
Lines no. 5X, 14, 39, 45 – exit at the stop “Sabinovská, Futbal Arena ” (by the stadium)

From the parking lot at the Tatran Handball Arena to the FTA:

Line No. 5, 5D, 5X – get off at the “Sabinovská, Futbal Arena ” stop
You need to get off at the “Mestská hala” stop, which is located on Ul. 17. novembra (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Dgu6YtK76dZNnECj8)

After the match:

From the FTA to the railway station:

Line No. X – get off at the “Sabinovská, Futbal Arena ” stop – it will run to the parking lot and to the railway station

From the FTA to the parking lot at the Tatran Handball Arena (get off at the “Mestská hala” stop):

Line No. X – get off at the “Sabinovská, Futbal Arena ” stop

From the FTA to the Šváby and Sekčov housing estates (only on 15.6.2025!):

Train

Where to board:

Košice: Košice railway station
Prešov: Prešov railway station or station “Prešov, mesto” – near the city center

Where to get off:

In Prešov, it is possible to get off either at the railway station “Prešov” or at the railway stop “Prešov – mesto” From the railway station – then a transfer to the Prešov public transport is required
From the railway stop “Prešov – mesto” – then a walk of about 20 minutes is required.
In Košice, the nearest stop to the Košice Football Arena is the railway station “Košice” – then a transfer by public transport is required.
